nothing matched the pick and paint strength of Acid. Went from ableton all the way to Fl studio. I wish I someone had smacked some sense into me back when Sony ruined Acid and I thought this is it and I moved to Ableton.

Yes, I am the idiot who owns EVERY daw on the planet and in full version. My workflow is fast on Acid so I start up projects on it but eventually move on to another DAW with stems after Acid starts to crash or freeze when project gets complex or if my eyes start to get tired with the new GUI themes (both light and dark) I am tired of asking for the original theme Acid always had. Acid only uses the plugins it wants to use.

Acid Pro 64 bit even fails the jbridge scan and I have the paid version. All of that has been tried multiple times, it doesn't work. To someone up there about pointing the plugin directory and such. At the end of the day I just want to get back to making music but have spent the vast majority of the past week trying to get my system ready to go. Again I was under the assumption that Acid Pro 10 have a integrated converter built in as well as the final build in Acid Pro 8.

I have tried Jbridge I have cleared cache etc., no luck in getting my Windows 10 system to read and convert my 32 bit plugins.
I have tried to submit a ticket to Magix but the website is all over the board I am not even sure where I can submit a ticket.

Well I do apologize for the frustration, I have spent hours the past few days trying to get Acid Pro 8 and Acid Pro 10 trial version trying to get my 32bit plugins to scan and convert. I'm afraid you are! This page actually shows it is available as 64 bit only. I don't think Acid 10 is available in 64 bit but I may be wrong. Please read the Community rules, available in the footer of any forum page. You will see I have edited one of your earlier posts to remove such language. Of course I could load up Acid Pro 7 and Acid Pro 8 on my old computer and bounce each track on each song into a new Daw and just move on but why should I have to do that when I have been with Magix since the 90's?īottomline, fix this **** or sell Sony Acid to a Developer who can make this thing do not use potentially offensive language in your posts. With that being said, I am loyal to Acid just seems it is not loyal back. To be honest, I should say **********and throw it in the trash and move on all together, too much time and effort just to get things to work, not like I am trying to use hack plugins and all that.

As matter of fact, I just deleted everything on my pc from ground and am going to freshly install every 32 bit and 64 bit vst's and then re install Acid Pro once again. Is there a button or setting inside the Daw you have to activate to get this to work?Īs for plugin in directory, I know where all my files are located, I have went through my computer with a fine comb. Acid 10 was supposed to have a integrated feature to convert 32bit into 64, at least that is what is advertised. Well I have pointed this in every direction you can and it just don't not scan. You have to go into the 'Plugin Manager' and point it in the right direction for 32bit and or most 3rd party VST plugins. If not, after many years of being loyal, I am gone, just hate to have to learn a new Daw but oh well it is what it is.ĪP10 (any version of AP) is not very instinctive. Very hopeful with Acid Pro 10's integrated Jbridge feature that it will solve all my problems and I stick with Acid Pro. I did uninstall Acid Pro 8 and reinstalled the 8 using the 32bit version and was able to get some things to load including the Synths and software.Īgain, my biggest problem is I do not want to purchase Acid Pro 10 if it will not do what I need it to do. I have scanned the folders and just can't seem to get things to load properly.
Biggest issue I am having is the VST's and synth's won't show up or load properly in Acid Pro 8 on Windows 10. Have been so frustrated trying to convert everything over to a new Windows 10 system I am on the verge of saying to heck with it and just using my old computer with Acid Pro 8. Is a free trial available - browse to the product page and scroll down about 3/4 of the way down the page - there you will find the link.
